Innovative smart retention and infiltration system for Kerelsplein in Roeselare.
In a joint effort with Aquafin and the city of Roeselare city, Aggéres built an innovative urban retention and infiltration basin at the ‘Kerelsplein’, an urban sports and playground on the outskirts of Roeselare. The basin combines multiple features, such as the retention, reuse, and infiltration of the water. Additionally, the retention and infiltration system allows for a shorter building period, which significantly reduces the building costs.
